Anyone been to this event in Ottawa Kansas? It's about a 6 hour drive for me and was just wondering if it's worth the trip. I haven't had the new ride anywhere yet and thought about taking it. Any info such as number of cars,lodging etc will be appreciated.Thanks!

It's the best in the area.  It's been growing for years; now it's over 1000 cars for the weekend.  

Lodging is limited in Ottawa, but Olathe is 30 minutes up I-35 and has plenty.  The Saturday night cruise is the best.

Everyone that's been has said it's great. I've tried for years to get a room in town with no success.

Most lodging is reserved a year in advance but there is plenty on the southwest side of Kansas City that is a reasonable commute.  Nice show, nice venue always enjoy it.
