30 Ford model a head lights

Hi all, its been quite sometime since I`ve checked out this forum....glad to see its still online.

My question is:
what works best with the original Model A headlight buckets, putting a seal beam behind the original lens or going to quartz halogen bulbs with the original reflector? Would like to keep the original look if possible.

IMHO the sealed beams behind the lens don't throw enough light. A halogen bulb is somewhat better. The reflector has to be very good to get a good beam.
The old "restorers" way to do it was to get an adapter that mounted a sealed beam in a ring spacer in the stock bucket.
If you drive fast a new halogen sealed beam is the way to go.

I got new glass lenses and reflectors set up for H4 bulb from CW Moss.  
They look stock but put out great light.  I also elected to get the ones with
an amber turn signal bulb inside.

I have had great experience with CW Moss in Orange CA for Model A parts.

I'll vouch for C W Moss, I have used their kits on several cars are was pleased with the results.
