A friend of mine has some bucks stashed away and is looking at maybe doing an Ardun conversion on the flathead in his 36 coupe.  He's not really up on the conversion etc, so does anyone know about them......like benefits, what all needs to be done to the motor etc etc etc.  I know the aftermarket heads alone go for about 10 grand.  Any advice, info, tips etc would be appreciated by him. Thanks!

the ardun kit is listed in the PDF catalog...

you might want to be sure you are properly seated...

as flat is what ones wallet is going to be ..

They are salty.
Headers will be a problem in that chassis, those heads have thier own exhaust ports and the existing flattie ports get blocked.  So what happens is that you get this wierd exit angle just above the frame rail - it will be closer than you'd think.
It can be done, it'll just add to the cost.
I know of a '34 that has Riddler contention written all over it and it has been sitting unfinished for years because of that problem.
