UPS trucks

I noticed the UPS guy has a new package car. And when he leaves it almost sounds like a race car. So I did a search and found that the new Package cars are  6.0 LS3 powered, with a Workhorse chassis. The drivers must love them.

I saw a new Canada Post 1 ton van stop and make a right turn. He made the turn fairly quickly..but just as soon as he was straightened out..and NOT going slowly..yep..sounded purrty good!! Took me by surprise at first..as to just where that noise was coming from. This thing really squirmed and smoke just poured off both rear tires. I was stunned by it's power. I talked to someone who does a lot of fleet maintenance..and they just nodded their head and said.."Ya..6.0 LS3..heavy vehicle..way less emmission controls..lots of gear..very powerful trucks"
