Anyone have a center hinge for a 1926 or '27 Model T closed car? I've got a broken one on my new coupe project.

This might be a backwards way of looking but years ago I was told that the doors on a '29 and '29 Model "A" Ford truck were the same asthe doors on a '26 and '27 Model "T" sedan. It may be a hoax but I know that Henry couldn't bear to throw anything away so maybe this will widen your source. GPster

New coupe project? I am slowly starting on my 26 T coupe . I have a frame done ,and the body resting on it. 8" diff tacked under it, and a 4" drop tube axle being shipped to me now.I have 2wks holidays coming up and am looking forward to making some progress . I have a broken hinge as well and I have heard that the T doors work on early A's as well. I have also heard something about the hinges being covered or not depending on either the year or origin of manufacture.

Mike,
what are the sizes of the hinge plates?  I've got 4 or 5 halves hanging around.  You never know, ya know??
