a few things... while you are waiting for the heads....

please OHM the individual injectors while you have them out..  if you find any with less than 14 ohms.. you will want to replace the whole set..

there are bosch III injectors with multiple tiny holes on the end that are far superior from what i have heard and never go bad...  i know for the 305 tpi motors a 97 mustang gt injectors are the right ones..  i don't recall for the 5.7 TPI motors..

you will also want to replace the coolant temp sensor and pig tail while in there.. AZ  SU102..  under 20 bucks for the sensor and pigtail..

did you both check out all the C4 articles in the corvettefever and the vetteweb sites??
