UGLY OLDS

I did a search but found nothing...   Anybody ever use " Poly-Armour"  brake lines ?  Kind of an "easy to bend" coated tubing ...  My question is about the coating ... I change steel brake & fuel lines  lines on my truck more often than the spark plugs ...

( The wheel on on my spare tire  mounted under the truck actually rusted through !!    Spare tire was brand new OE ..The center of the wheel rusted through  :!: )

I am wondering if this brand will last any longer  :?:  :?:

Bob ....

poly armor coated brake lines are neat...

they are the same steel under the poly coating..

just as easy to kink as the non coated lines...

try not to scratch through the coating..

HF has a small tube bender for really cheep... working the tube around the bend with the lever.. pulling and resetting and pulling again as you go..

the nicest one bender for brake lines is probably the weatherhead version but they are expensive..

i did see some nice cheep benders from one of the nitrous companies..

work with 3/16 tube..

If you want to do the brake  lines once, and not again, use Copper/nickle line. You can get it from NAPA, in rolls, about $30 for 25 ft.
