Thanks Wayne, I only need less than a foot that needs to bend in a sort of shallow "S" configuration.  I got a piece of marine fuel hose, but with the wire braiding , the hose is pretty stiff in such a short piece.  I was hoping to  find something a little more pliable and not have to buy 8' of it.  Tom...

the first link is sold as inches...

with fuel tanks being mounted under the back seats in front of the rear axle of so many cars.... there should be OEM fuel hose segments that you can use..  the problem is.. there is NO catalog available..   its a search the junkyard sort of treasure hunt.. and if you do find something.. try to find the vin number on that car and write it down... that way you can.. use carfax.,com to identify it.. if its newer than 1980... so you might try to get a new replacement..

I'm having the same issue.  Need about 1' of 1" ID hose...seems to be very difficult to find.  No luck at any of the parts houses and Ford wants to sell it as a filler neck assembly for over $200, which is excessive for something that could be sold separately...it has a hose clamp on each end, after all.

how about an application on the filler neck you need..

dorman has started selling some...  if you are working with a production application

if not... do you have a marina around....  boat yards and boat supplies like west marine... might have access to additional brands of fuel filler hose..

there is also this race car fuel fill and vent hose... probably from ryan herco

Dang Wayne, that's exactly what I had in mind!  I like to think I'm pretty good with Google but I swear you can find anything.  Thanks for your help.
