Thinking of using FRP panel on the inside of my "T" then upholster over it. Can I heat and form it  around the interior? Found a good price at Home Depot.

Curve Ply would be better.

IMHO.

The usual big boxes should have it.
Bends real easy, can be glued or stapled.

Never had much luck bending it very far. In my track roadster I used 1/8" black ABS board. Bends fairly easy but a heat gun does wonders. I just screwed it down with the nubby side exposed. That's the upholstery.

I bought it in 4x8 sheets from Alro Plastics. I'm pretty sure they would have an outlet in the Metro area. They have a web site but the last time I tried it it was pretty bad.

I used black abs also. 1/8 where is was fairly straight and 1/16 where I had to be creative.

FRP does not like to bend and hold that bend. Heat does not work either. It does not hold staples well, and most machines can not sew it.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

O.K. Now I'm leaning toward ABS  Anything waterproof.
