I got an email from the company that does the Johnny Lightning series of cars.  They saw a picture of the Torino I had posted on SRS and want to make a miniature of my car.  I figure why not - I get some free cars and bragging rights at the local cruise night!   :lol:

Thats exciting news.  I believe Jeff Koch who use to work for Hot Rod Mag a few years ago went to work for them, or maybe it was  Matchbox... ????which ever company is based in South Bend, IN.

Anyway, congrats.  If you get a few, can I have a autographed one????  :D

Considering it will probably be the first of the year before I see anything, I'll probably figure out a way to hand deliver one to you.  That way I'll have a good excuse to go to Detroit for a visit. (and cookies) :lol:

A buddy of mine, Tom Wilkinson had his car featured as the Bad Bird, in a series of Johnny Lightning cars. He got a couple cases of them. I got one case :lol:
