Thanks from my household to all who serve our countries ,past and present. We have a quality of life and freedoms that people from other countries cannot imagine . It was posted on a billboard at our last Canada Remembers airshow " Those who openly oppose the military have the right to do so, due to the sacrifices of our veterans and those who made the ultimate sacrifice." ( the quote may be inaccurate ,I am going from memory.)My students often cannot fully understand the meaning of rememberance day,I try to put it in perspective for them each year before we go to the school rememberance service.

Thanks to all our veterans past and present, on both sides of our border.  And, let us not forget our friends from down under who have shared the burden as well.

Please add me to the list:  USMC  1961-1964
My project is 90% finished, with only 90% to go.
