I did a tour of the Detroit Diesel factory a few years ago. I was suprised how automated the engine assembly process was. Even more so that the ones shown in these videos.

the corvette engines are advertised as being "hand" built which would explain the lower automation level

actually since you build it under the watchful eye of a "professional" they still give the same warranty with it 8)
