does anybody know if there's a patch (on the body)for the rear fenders where the fender bolts on?
they're ALWAYS rusted.....
don't think there's a big difference between a coupe/sedan/areo....
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it\'s still on my list

Try www.Chevsofthe40s.com.  I did a quick search for patch panels and come up with lots of stuff for the right cars, but don't know that I saw exactly what you are looking for.

I know of no manufactured replacements/ I just cut better ones out of another body. And you are right, all body styles are the same, you may have to reshape the outer skin a bit between models, bit the lip itself is the same.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

I made my own patch panels with a shrinker stretcher and then welded them in.  Making short strips about 10 to 12 inches long is easier than the whole strip at once.  After welding, hammer the welds to expand the metal back out as the welding shrinks it.
