Torque on banjo rear

Anyone know what the torque is on a '47 Ford banjo -(ring gear to differential). I did mine at 30 lbs. but I 've heard 60 lbs. too. Having trouble getting ANY gap between the bells and the center housing SOOO I can't even start to adjust the shim /gaskets for the preload. Thanks
