Can we put the accessories and intake from a 96 Vortec 5.7 on a 2004 5.3L longblock?

Or to put it another way, we want to put a  2004 5.3L long block in a 96 Tahoe.

i think maybe the trans MIGHT bolt up but nothing else will

there will be converter to  flywheel problems

the converter  from the LS motor is different bolt pattern  ,  different off set on the flywheel

Yes, the 5.3 is an LS derived engine.  It's the one I want to put in my '57.  They're cheap, plentiful, long-lived, and can make 325hp with only a mail order tune.  I'd like to hook one to a T5, which is sufficiently beefy for that power level and about 1/3 the price of a T56.

Matching up to components from earlier generation SBCs including the Vortec can get a bit technical, however.

GM offered a parts kit to bolt a early  automatic  trans to the LS engine.

Problem was  couple  of  parts were incorrect.   That was last year.  I believe they corrected the problem.
