One of my favorite looks from that era, was 1" white walls, chrome wheels, and Black Jack baby moons. The Black Jack baby moon was actually a close copy of a 55 chevy poverty cap.

Here are the cones.. its just a hub cap that replaces the baby moon, it has a cone or bullet shape.

This is a 55 Chevy cap, the Black Jack, looked the same, except there were no Chevy bow ties, and it was painted black in that area

Just an opinion but those cone caps look more like something for a Dolly Parton costume.I do like those baby moons on chrome wheels though.

I was about to suggest narrow whites as well.

They were popular in the late 50's early 60's so they'd fit right in.

Keep the chrome steelies.

Run a somewhat novel hubcap with them . . . 56 Chevy hubcaps are small and good looking.
They fit 50 Fords as well.

I thought about suggesting a different color on the lower body area.
Blue for a red, white and blue theme.
There was a factory time period where they did three tone paint jobs.

Best bet imo, leave it alone, start another project.

A 56 Chevy two door post would do it.
Buy a restored one and there's your hubcaps . . . free . . . sorta....
