Can any one give me a measurement of the front axle location on the frame? I am working on another basket case.

Frank...
If a '37 frame is the same as a '38, the distance from the center of the front axle back to the center of the front body bolt, is 23"....
I have a '38 coupe, and it has two body bolts for the front firewall mount.  I measured from the axle center, to the center of the forward body  mount bolt.  It is a Heights IFS, but it is centered in the right place...

Thanks, that's just what I needed. This car is an old hot rod that was badly abused during it's life. I have removed the remains of three sets of motor mounts, had to put a patch in the left frame rail, and weld up a few cracks. So far 4 hours in the right rail, 5 in the left. I still have to replace the bottom box plate on the left rail, and a couple places on the right. I have a Welder's series crossmember to put in it.
