Dusty

his car on it's maiden voyage lastnight.
He has been working on it about 5 years...

This was the monthly meeting of the local Street rods, Customs, and Motorcycles at the Weinerschnetzal Drive in.
It is a 1929 Model A "Special Coupe" with the fold down Roof insert removed and welded over with new metal. The frame was extended 13'', and he installed a V-12 Lincoln Zephyr engine, overdrive tranny, and column shift. The engine uses the same parts as the Ford V8-60. He still has a bit of finish work to do, but it will be a traditional 50's rod. Even down to the Lincoln Banjo steering wheel from the 30's, and the Zephyr hubcaps...
He built the 3x2 manifold for it and the headers. The car looks and sounds real good. It's one of a kind around here.

Very cool! I heard once that the original version of "Hot Rod Lincoln" had a 12 cylinder in it too!!  "..that Model A body makes her look like a pup...."
