Imron vs ??????

I have a paint question, and I realize it's a bit off topic, but the people on here have a wide range of experience, so.
I have an experimental airplane that is getting close to time to paint.
Is there anything out there that is comparable to Imron for less money?

As usual I'll welcome any and all opinions and criticisms

I use Kirker Automotve urethane and their clear. It's less money but I can't say that it's the same as. Go to smartshoppersinc.com and check it out.

Hello;
Before you get too involved remember that some paints go on heavier than others! Now on a car this makes no difference what so ever but I think that weight added to an airframe would make an airplane react differently when flying.
I know that aircraft fly much better when they are lighter!

Am I satisfied? Yes, the only problem I have is with the painter. (Me) I decided after about 9 months to repaint the truck. The clear is so hard that I couldn't sand it easily. I think it's an ok product from my exp. so far.
