I have a question (or 3) about your friends anglia cooling system you talked about in the COE thread.Does it have fenderwells? How far is it from the back of the engine to the firewall? How big is the rad? I am asking because I want to avoid cooling issues with my car and will be working on that fairly soon.

You don't need cooling in Saskatchewan

most of the questions I am not sure of the answers.

I know it has inner wheel wells.

Radiator is an aluminum unit with 2 rows of 1 inch tubes. Size ?  I don't know.

engine set back ?  a photo shows the car under construction.

Thanks Crosley ,the firewall looks similar to my own,my fenderwells are cut back to the fender bolt flange, framerails look about the same width so the rad will be a similar width. I guess I should get a rad with a third row of tubes.I talked with a guy at the march meet a few years ago that ran a 9 second thames that was running a ford courier rad with no problems but it was a track only deal.Your friend has a nice car!

2Rods, yes we do need cooling ,but just in the summer. We can get temps up to around 100F now and then. Now the winter is another thing!5 months of snow will make you appreciate summer!

Crosley, thanks again for the engine bay picture. My engine sits lower and farther back, room for a blower or tunnel ram W/O a scoop.
