I have been in contact with Eaton as well as other companies.  In reality the Chassis Engineering setup is less expensive then the price of 2 springs, perches and shock plates from Eaton.  I have had Chassis Engineering setup on a 48 Chevy coupe and was pleased with the setup.  I was just hoping to get a more pleasant ride to Indy and back.  Thanks for the input.

Are these stock springs?

Pretty sure they are 1 3/4 inches wide--stock spring shackles moved left to right and right to left

I would suggest a disassembly and cleaning, with  the leaves smoothed and a bit of grease between the leaves will make a world of difference. I have generally been happy with the stock springs on old Chevys of that era.

I also like the Posies Superslide springs, they bolt into the stock hangers.

You want a picture of the shock mount?

responded.  If you have a picture handy--can always use it for future reference or if I find components I can use instead of the CE system.
Thanks :D
