Speedway motors king pin retro fit kits

Has anyone used the kit from speedway to replace the king pins with needle bearings ?
Good? Bad? any change in steering?

I used the original SSB kit in my 53 chevy pickup. It made considerable difference. Way less steering effort. I ordered a set for the 32 but they were on back order. I thought I would have them by now but I'm still waiting. I'm a believer.

I have looked at em and read the article on street rodder where they used em but i didnt like the price.. Look at all the vehicles and large trucks that used regular bushings for many years.. Properly fitted and maintained king pins and bushings will last a long long time..

Regular kingpins & bushings, but a ball bearing steering column on my 32.
Along with a pitman arm thats 1" shorter.
Granted, it makes the steering ratio slower, but it's not really noticeable.

Somewhat narrow wheels, 5 1/2" wide with 3" backspace and 5" tread width radials run at 30# enter into the equation as well.

6 degrees caster fwiw.

Steers a lot easier than similar cars I've driven.

One finger will do it as long as the car is at least, barely moving.

Nice highway manners as well.
