Can anyone tell me if the water pump turns backwards on a chevy if it has a serpintine belt set up?

If it has a smooth pulley, yes, if it's a grooved pulley, no. They came both ways.

.............and just in case there is any confusion they both pump the water through the motor the same way and the one doesn't create reverse flow through the motor.............
