Is there a website that gives the measurements of various seats. Or, is this kind of a trial and error? When I talk to guys about changing my seats out, I always hear "I have such and such". That's good info, but I don't want to have the same as everybody else. At least not the same as people in my area. I saw a complete set of GTO seats on E-bay at what I thought was a food price. I thought they would fit. The person gave the measurements, and I found out that the front seats would be okay, but the bottom cushion on the rear ones were about 5 inches to deep. Just looking for another Winter project on the '40 CHevy HELP!!!
Your drug test came back positive...Welcome aboard!

Not that I know of. If the front seats fit, it's not that hard to modify a rear seat. you just take it apart, cut the frame to fit, cut the foam to fit, and take the cover to an upholsterer, and him resew that to fit. Outside of the cover, it can be done in one day.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

I don't believe that in all the years of poking my head in the windows of rods [and it's been quite a few]I have ever said "heck, thats' the same seat as so-and-so's".  Nor have I ever heard anyone else say that. If I know someone who is using a seat that works and their vehicle is same as mine, that is where I will start. I may modify the seat, or maybe look at the same model they came out of a year earlier or later. By the time they are recovered it gets even harder to tell. That's just me.
