I am helping a buddy strip out a s-10 Blazer. It had been converted to a 350- 700R4 combo. In order to pull the engine we need to split the trans from the engine. With the special oil pan it will not clear the cros member. Can anyone tell me what wernch size I need to remove the torque converter bolts? None of the wrenches we had would fit. So when I head to the store what do I need to buy? THey are blind bolts into the converter larger than 15 mm but smaller than 11/16

We are gouing to use the chassis to put under a 48 Willys Panel truck.
Thanks

Tim.

An 11/16" wrench is too big at .6875 - which is "near" a 17mm at .6692, and you say that a 15 mm (.5905) is too small, so I'm going to suggest a 16mm at .6299.....

I was thinking it would be 16mm also. Turns out that it takes a 17mm. Was able to use a long extention and 6 poiint socket and just cleared the oil pan to get them off.
