Everything was fine.  Turned out to be a false alarm.  But it is always better to be safe than sorry.

The steering shaft stub was waiting on the porch when we got home.  Exactly what I need.  Thanks!!

HeHe, he had one lit when he pulled up at my house, and one lit when he left. I dont remember what we were moving, but Im pretty sure he had one as we loaded it too.

If my memory serves me it was an F-1 we were transporting down to Dallas.

Thats right, it was a F1......... I didnt doo too much to that truck, and neither did the owner that bought it, nor the one after him if I remember correctly. That was a good truck, just needed some love. I hope it found a good home.

hmmmmmm, enjenjo mentioned to me he needed to quit smoking.  I forget how many years ago that was.
