On the S-10 with the 2.8...is there any chance they found a way to reverse the operation of the TV cable?
I don't know if the DPO did a carb conversion or what..All the cables are on the passenger side and there is no place to hook up the TV in a pull configuration.  I think maybe this is why it won't come out of first gear (Which is why i got it CHEAP for a donor).  It's a four wheel drive if that makes a diference.

the throttle body is mounted backwards on a 2.8, cables come in from the right front.
