I hope that means you don't need your motor back.  It is still sitting in the shop waiting to be rebuilt and the one in the jeep is getting real tired   .

George (Purple Pickup) has a Rambler with a sbc in it, but he didn't put it in, but might know what kind of headers or on it (if it has headers).  If you need to contact him and don't know how (if he doesn't respond here) PM me and I'll get you his info.

I used some Hedman non-equal length headers on 1FATGMC and they might work for you.  They are meant for sub-frame cars and sweep back and down by the firewall and weren't that expensive and have held up well.

c ya,

Thanks, but no thanks on the transmission.  Spent about $700 getting the jeep one rebuilt this last year.

I tried the equal length headers first, but since my truck is low they were on the ground  :( .

The unequal length ones have done real well on some dyno testing.  Seems there is always one or two cylinders that are tuned right at what ever rpm you are running    ,
