Dave, thanks for your input, better safe than sorry any day.  Just checking my options and there's no way on earth I'd use PVC for air line.  Anything that could shatter is out of the question.  Roger, thanks for the rental tool suggestion.  Don't know why I didn't think about that, there's a rental place 5 blocks from my house!
