Hood lacing

I just have completed installing my new Rootlieb hood with a Dan Fink double opening. Glad I have it done my back is killing me ! What I need now is new hood lace. I can't remember where I got it 30 years ago.

You can get the original type lacing at Resoration supply. I have used the loop side of Velcro strips too.

I've seen them made out of pieces of old firehose also.
