Tuna Boat - She Sails and wins the Reggata!

I get the Tuna boat out of dry dock, new wheel bearing, flushed and filled differential fluid, a new pumpkin seal and new rear brake shoes.

My buddy takes his 52, Chevy Business Coupe, in primer, gasser style, not washed and I roll with the 4-dr, family sedan to a car show in Effingham. Lots of beautiful cars... guess which two dopes take home the hardware.. the fat bald guy with the dirty car and the gold chainer with the not cool, 4-Door family sedan... who would of thunk it.... TOO FUNNY... we were both a little dumb struck when the annouced we had won. The only reason we stayed for the awards is that we could not get our cars out of the way because of the large crowd awaiting the award ceremony.

The tuna captain is on the right...

I got to give credit to a car club that is willing to give awards to a 4 door and a dirty car... !!

Congrats! I'm with Debb.....can't wait for it to warm up....our first cruise night was last Wednesday.....Would have needed a sled to get there thru the snow

but "What is Barney Fife" other than the character from he TV show?

Another "congratulations." You don't see many nice "58 Chevys--in fact, you don't see many '58 Chevys period. You've got a rare car and a nice ride.

You need to do some research of posts just made since Sat. You will see plenty of reference to Barney and who he is, even a few pics from the work bee.
