Voltage regulator

Is it safe to put a voltage regulator under the seat with the rest of my electric parts (fuse box etc.) Or will it create a heat sink ??

I put the regulator on our T under the seat with no problem.

My frirst car i built was a t bucket and i put the regulator under the floor.
Worked fine

My 32 roadster's regulator (Pinto alternator) is under the seat.

No probs since 1993 & 45,000 miles.

Just make sure the regulator mount , ( where it bolts down) ,  is grounded...The board isn't big enough to explain how I know that.. :shock: .Just trust me.... :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Yup I knew you were stupid..  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:  Nothing works right on 12v without a good ground..
