Ok can some one school; me how to run my elec clean in the frame to things like the eng and the alt and head lights?
I don't what to see much wire.
I would like to run a head light bar if i can find a steel one
I am working on a 32 coupe 2 window
And would like to put the fues block behind the seat.
Hope that helps you all out
thanks Dave

Dave

If its done right you will only see the wires where they enter the frame. You will need big holes and rubber grommets to save from chafing the wires. My fuse block is under the dash and i didnt hide my headlight wires i ran them with the brake lines. I also didnt run the battery cables thru the frame. It looks fine to me but im not Boyd

If you are planning ahead, you can install a conduit before you box the frame, but at this point, Daves idea is probably best. I would run the wires to the rear inside the body to the rear of the frame, it's easier to hide.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

thanks Dave

You talking to me Davey ?? Ill get some pics this weekend for you. Do you have fenders?
Dave

Daveyboy

nope here is what i am working on

Dave

Ya ok i thought it was gonna be fenderless.. Ill get ya some pics davey. I made my own headlight conduits out of braided stainless hose and hex aluminum. A little work on the lathe and viola... I actually had some pics but i deleted them ?? I also got the socal style stainless headlight mounts.. I bought a pair for my roadster from speedway and they came in bob drake packaging.

The best help I can give you to run your wires is to show you how NOT to!

This is my great method. The two purple wires you see are the neutral safety switch that I squeeze together to start it since I never got around to hooking them up to the shifter.

I did however solder and heat shrink EVERY connection. Just never made something to hold the bundle up and out of the way. Other than them dangling down, I followed the instructions from Haywire and most everything worked out well.

Dave

Davey.. Im sorry but i didnt get the pics yet. I got out in the garage and actually felt good today so I changed the oil in 2 cars and vaccumed one and did the windows too. I worked on the roadster also. I will try to get you some pics this week but be warned ive got a stress test tomorrow and i got to see a specialist for my throat wednesday so im not gonna tray and B/S you it may not get done right away.. I wanna tell you though the coupe is looking good...

no prob i hae some time before i get to that. But would like to know where i should drill holes in the frame before i do the tear down.
But i still need my A/C and that takes some cash .
I have 300 so it will be 2 or 4 weeks
