Anybody ever have to bend a steering box arm ? I'm using a Vega steering box on my Track-T and I need to heat & bend the steering box arm out about an inch or so  to get my steering linkage parallel. The stock Vega arm has about 2" offset (6" ctr. to ctr.)and I need about 3"offset..It's a stock forged Vega arm and I have an extra to practice on ...I  I know this can be dangerous and is ill-advised to do so , but I've tried all my sources to find the correct offset without any results.. any thoughts , SWAG's , past experiences , etc
Hotrodding is a chronic sickness, eased only by exposure to the smell of hot oil, burnt racegas, loud exhausts and followed by periods of rest on a creeper underneath  some form of engine powered vehicle.

unklian

Heat, bend, allow to cool in still air.

No problem.
