Trans Shift

I am having a problem with the shifting on my 350TH. It shifts fine from 1st to 2nd but kind of hangs up on the shift to 3rd. If I horse it from a light it shifts through the gears with no problem BUT when I am in traffic and taking it easy it will shift 1st to 2nd fine then hangs up on the shift to 3rd. Is there an adjustment that needs to be made or what?

Check the vacuum modulator. And make sure you have manifold vacuum to it.
