I bought a mill and lathe this summer.  I picked up a rotary table and spin index and have been playing around.  I made this kicker pedal for my new bike.  It needs some button head bolts and some nickel plating but you get the direction Im headed.

Nice work Glen.  You are going to enjoy the mill and lathe.  I sure like mine and wish I would have had them years ago.

HF recently had their 8 inch rotary table on sale and I picked one up and I'm in the middle of making a 4 jaw chuck for it, but have gotten side tracked on other things  .

I need to get the roadster done and sold and add on to the garage and get a mill and a lathe. Ive got access at work but ive been too dam busy to use em. In fact ive got 2 like 20 minute projects and cant seem to find time to do em. Gotta watch out for the squirrely little boss man too! I guess the reason ive never bought em is cause i used to use em every day and i kinda didnt wanna do it at home. But now ive got a need........

Started this oil tank this morning.

I bought a solid piece of 6x1 6061 and a piece of 6x.125 wall tubing.

mounted the slug in the mill and then welded it to the tubing.
