Tony,
I have a turbo 400 in the 35. It uses a switch for the kickdown control. I don't have one on it yet, but if i stand on it it down shifts now.  It's not slipping or anything and it shifts very firm. Am I missing something here?
Thanks,
Don :b-d:

Thanks,
I plan on ordering the switch and add it on.

================= a simple thing......... the sudden drop in vacuum to the modualtor will activate a gear drop in the t-400 at the right speed , etc.

You don't have to have that switch, without it you can go full throttle without it downshifting, and if you do want it to shift, just pull the shifter down into 2nd.
