Could it be? Is there a profit to be made? Is drag racing making a resurgence?

Maybe so! I certainly hope so and maybe with some racing in mind rather then just playing, match the clock.
Sounds to be well managed and forging on ahead with enthusiasm. ..........Frank
Tell the National Guard to mind the grocery store...

Hey Frank, don't ya know that's the way they race nowdays. Back when you wouldn't have thought about letting up on it because you might go to fast. Sure never heard of BREAKING OUT back then
Some days it\'s not worth chewing through the restraints.

if ya don't like bracket racin' you prolly just as well stay home and whine about no place to race.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it\'s still on my list

I'll bet SKR8PN will be happy.  He lives in Mansfield.  He'll have a place right in his own backyard to race his Daytona.

My wife and her daughter spent some time at the Mansfield Reformatory.     They are into ghost hunting and the abandoned prison is supposedly haunted.  It was built in the 1800's and they let you spend the night there in the dark wandering around socializing with the ghosts.  Maybe some weekend while Sue is in prison I might have to visit the race track. :D

The AMA has their motorcycle hall of fame museum and  Vintage Motorcycle Days close to Mansfield too.

Lots of things to do there.

Not that I ever did it myself, but a fellow I know reckons when he street raced, it was simply on the throttle till your oponent was soundly beaten, then get off to avoid hurting the car or getting pinched for street racing.

Doesn't seem much different to today's bracket racing to me and I reckon it might take a tad more skill behind the wheel to beat another guy without breaking out.  As I understand it that remains the obejective, even in bracket racing.
