I talked with several guys here local, and the general consensus is that 600-650 CFM are about right for a fairly mild small block.

I think I'm gonna change the primary jets to 68's before I fire it. also gonna get a new set of spark plugs, so I can see if its rich or lean.

its .030 over, so its a 355, the heads are 1.94 / 1.50 with 60cc chambers.
the cam is 272/485 hydraulic.

nothing real fancy, I did do some porting and polishing on the heads. 8)

hopefully I will have the fitting by the weekend, I wanna see how this puppy runs.

by the way FatCat, there ain't nuthin' better than a couple of likkered up sheep to start the day off right

It may be good for you but what do the sheep have to say about it? You are aware that get because they can't talk doesn't mean that they don't feel guilty or traumatized? :)

Finally got the right fittings today. :)

got the fuel line installed, had a few minor leaks, nothing a little teflon thread tape can't fix.

had a few issues with the float levels and the electric choke, but then again, I was expecting a little tweaking.

it seems to be a little rich, even with the 68 jets in the primaries. :?

but so far it seems like its gonna be a good carb.   time will tell.
