this old crane truck has sit there for years.

Not sure, but it looks like a White, an early 50s model 3014

You can put a straight 8 Chrysler in a Valiant for Bonneville but the last time I heard of a decent motor swap for one of those things was an Allison. I do think it would make a cool cab-over and my being shy of depth perseption it would be easier to see where the car in front of me was stopped. GPster

I think your right; a white White.
If the makers of Crosleys made a truck, I think it would look a lot like that.  Sort of ugly, to the point of being interesting.

Its definately a white and there was one up on poles advertising truck parts or repairs in southern michigan in the late 60s or ealy 70s.  Jeff

Might be able to buy the front cab / sheet metal off the truck.  They appear to use the crane section daily

Well it deffenently is White  but it has a red grille.

I saw one of those at Louisville Nats a few years back. It had a ramp bed , aloong extension on the cab ,red in color. It was very nice.Not sure, but I think Street Rodder mag did a feature on it.
