6 squares....that's 24 bundles.  That's a pretty good for a day's work...but you're just a young pup.  You can handle it.   I've got to roof a storage building this summer.  Did you use a nail gun?

I can safely say that my body hurts in many areas that I forgot I had areas to hurt.

Only 9 more squares to install on sunday and monday.

Why not have the blown in attic insulation? Faster and less work for you.

Tony, I feel your pain!
I spent most of Friday up in the attic of my 64 year old house, drilling 1" holes in the wall top plates, and 4 hours Saturday filling those walls with blow-in insulation. Four years ago, I insulated the attic floor with 6" batts. If I had to do it all over, I would've used blow-in insulation on the floor also. NO itching, and no gaps. Very dusty, but the dust washes off, the itching doesn't. Buy 10 or more bags at Home Depot, get to use the blow-in machine free. I used the remaining stuff to fill in the gaps of the batts.

Gee, it feels awfully warm in here this am; guess I'll go turn down the thermostat.

Just make sure you're done remodeling before your fill your attic.  Being the rocket scientist that I am, I decided to remodel a couple of years after blowing insulation into my attic.....DUHHHmmmbbb!

Hey George, I'm not remodeling my attic. I was blowing insulation into the house walls from above. I've got brick exterior and great plaster inside, so I didn't want to drill holes in any walls. My attic is a walk up, and being English cottage style, it's got peaks that must be 12 feet high. My gf wanted to build a room up there, and I said nope, storage only. Most of it is floored with flakeboard.

I just came down from up there; swept up the large piles of cell., then put a window fan in one window, opened the two others, and used the leave blower for the remaining dust. Worked out pretty good.

I guess I'll have to ask Vinnie to take a road trip. He loves Florida this time of year, I might get a discount
