just need to go up and over a single-wide overhead door. I want to mount a filter and regulator on the wall, and a hook to hang my hose on. That will put it in between my two doors and make it easier to get the hose to any part of the garage. What are recommendations for mounting the filter and regulator? Do they normally come with something mount them? What kind should I get?

I saw in the post about plastic lines that a couple guys recommended copper. I'm pretty good at sweating pipes, so that may be the way to go. I also have access to a pipe threader and black pipe,  so I can do either. Probably six of one and half-a-dozen thing.

Anybody have a pic of how theirs is set up?

Thanks

There's a pretty good design here showing how the main line runs close to the ceiling and the drop lines have risers coming off the main line before they drop to help reduce moisture.  Each drop pipe has a valve on the end for draining too.

Here's another similar diagram.
