So I'm lookin' thru the new Speedway catalog and run across this intake manifold I just gotta have........and being the strong-willed type, I order it.  it has Nitrous bosses on each intake runner.  I start thinkin'.........bad idea, I know, however, a little laffin' gas might just really wake the 'ole Coupe up. 8)

anybody here familiar with direct port NOS injection?

I have been poking around at some various sites, kinda curious about some real-world experiences.

any input will be appreciated.

Make sure you have a DEDICATED,FILTERED fuel system just for the NOS. Make sure you FILTER the NOS because the nozzles are TINY.
Make sure you have a HEALTHY engine with forged pistons,GOOD oiling system,a timing retard setup, and a STRONG ignition system.
LEARN how to read spark plugs PROPERLY!!!!!
Start small and work your way up in jet sizes.
I have helped my buddy get his stock motored 1995 Mustang deep in the 11's,on street tires thru the mufflers, without melting any pistons .............. YET
But he is on the ragged edge.... 8)

Thanks Jim, I appreciate the info. :D
I'm not sure if I am gonna do it or not. :?

kinda pricey, and I don't really need it.
but............it would be cool to have a little "instant horsepower" 8)

thanks again,
