River1 t-400 tranny partially together(UPDATE)?

I should have torn this down in front of Jim.

Appears some amateur had built it.

Snap rings in the wrong locations.  The bevel style ring for the center support was installed in the 2nd gear slot for the pressure plate.  When the snap ring pops out and gets tossed around between the 2nd gear pressure plate and the drum , usually the case is destroyed at the groove for the 2nd gear snap ring.

You see, the 2nd gear pressure plate is pushing against the 3rd gear drum when 2nd gear is applied when the snap ring is NOT in position.  That can chew up the drum and related parts.

One other item is the govenor thimble filter was stuck in the feed hole for the center support.... ain't never seen that goof up before
