Don, thanks for the compliments. It's purple (Ford Probe color). No purple cars in the 50's? I remember a guy in the neighborhood back in about 55/56 had a Lilac colored 37 Ford cpe. Sounds like the guy was an a%#
Here's another shot of it in different light

Quote from: "phat rat"George, thought of you yesterday when I was coming home from the Coldwater swap but the rain was coming down in buckets so much of the time I figured I'd try finding you another time. I've got 2,000mi on the cpe already this year and will easily go over 10,000 as this fall I'm going to the Golden State Nats and then do the so called Iron Man run from there to the South East Nats in Tampa. Course I'll probably still be behind you in mileage for the year

So you'll be headin' down my neck of the woods in October...
If you need any rooms or other arrangements for dinner or sightseeing, give me a holler.
That purple coupe will look good out on the beach with the palm trees, surf and sunset behind it.

That sideways smokebelching brake job is an everyday occurance down here, with all the old fogeys coming across 3 lanes of traffic to pull into their favorite early bird breakfast. Cops down here can't figure out why so many cars get hit in the side by the #$@ end of the one in front of them when they're both going straight.

Sometimes I think Stevie Wonder grabbed an Etch-a-Sketch and designed all the traffic patterns down here.

Brian, We'll have to arrange a get together. I've got my room booked already, I'll be staying at the La Quinta right by the fairgrounds in fact I think it said across the street from it. Got the palm tree shot already

Don, how about you I see your in Fort Meyers do you go up to the show in Tampa?
