Today's project

I built a fuel tank for the sprint car I am working on. I wanted it to look like it was built back in the 40's, so I bent it up out of only two pieces, and assembled it with tinners rivets. I have to install the fuel filler yet, then I will solder all the seams to seal it up.

Sorta looks like a tombstone for the Tin Man.....but a very nice one  :wink:

It looks like it fits into the body in your bottom picture, right behind the driver's seat.  

By the way Frank, have you noticed that your garage is overflowing?

Maybe that's a note of enthusiasm, looking at what's ahead and out front (for those of you that look at that sexually I meant radiater).  GPster
