i know i need a 80s tbird rack for my MII front end but which one?

i did a search for an 82 tbird on NAPA online and got a couple of different racks. one for performance suspension, one with tie rod ends, one without.

or should i go with one from flaming river? i'm looking for quality over price. i also want a power rack.

thanks jim

The performance rack is about 2 turns lock to lock, the regular one is about 3 turns. You don't need the Tbird tie rod ends, you will use 74 to 78 Mustang II tie rod ends. I have been using NAPA premium rebuilds, and have not had any problems.

i've changed my mind and i'm now going with a manual rack.
i've done a search and one of the best prices was a flaming river from summit.
are they a quality unit? made in the USA?

thanks jim

call me tentatively interested.

i did a better search of summit and they list 6/7 racks with different part numbers and prices from 199 to 400+. so i'm more confused then ever. can anyone narrow it for me, maybe to the rack that 40 has?
