Got an idea for a windshield crank on the truck (old one is broke) it requires welding steel to a piece that's splined. The original is potmetal anyone have any ideas of what I could use made of steel that would be splined? Shaft size is .340, spline inside is .380, outside of spline .432

I haven't looked at mine yet. When I get it apart and see what's needed, I'll post an answer.

This was just the crank itself. I came up with an idea for it in the middle of the night and it's done. Thanks for the offer though
