More horespower

I have 1990 gmc sierra z71 I want to increase horsepower by 75-100 with a minimal budget of under 1000.00.  Is it possible, if so any suggestions
Its has a 350 5.7 L

Its has a 350 5.7 L

I think with only $1000 to spend maybe 20-30 hp with some intake/exhaust and chip upgrades.

A 75 hp nitrous shot would be a possibility in that price range.

$3000 would get you there with a centrifugal charger application.

that amount of power increase will have to be a forced induction system....

as t-slik says , then the tranny will break.

4x4 trucks break the 4L60 output shaft of the tranny between the tranny and T-case usually
