I need some info for the 37 Ford pickup. Who makes the best front spring? Mono leaf, super slider, what? Who makes patch panels for the doors and back of the cab? Does anyone have exp. with installing the car sheet metal on the front end? Is there any surprises? Thanks, guys.

I can only address the spring issue. I have had a Posies Super Slide on the front of my '27 for about 12 years, and it has been flawless. Over the years I've done the teflon strip routine, etc. but the Super Slide is the best I've used. When I get around to redoing the '27 I am going to install new sliders into the pockets, but that will be about all I have to do.

Somewhere I remember reading something negative about the monoleaf front spring, but I can't remember what or where.

Sheetmetal on a 37 car I would expect problems where the hood meets the grill and side panels, dont know how that works out with truck cab!

Here's a link to Wescott's for patch panels; http://www.wescottsauto.com/pdf-p-ford-patch/p08-1932-ford-patch.pdf
It's a pdf file.

I've seen one such front clip (sheet metal) swap, finished not in process.  The owner said he sectioned the passenger cowl section on to match up for the hood.  Frames are the same so shouldn't be an issue attaching there.  Probably used the passenger radiator too, if there's a difference.
